FAQs
Why exactly Spogad?
Our company began its journey in Ukraine, where "Spogad" – the word for "remembrance" – symbolises an element of memory, deeply rooted in the culture of honouring those who have passed. We try to help navigate the path of loss and support in this time of trouble and ensure transparency of the Stone of Remembrance manufacturing process at all stages with video confirmation.
My pet is already on the verge, what should I do?
If you feel that your pet is leaving soon, leave an order or contact us, we will be able to advise you what to do.
What is the Remembrance Stone?
It is an alternative to the urn with ashes, namely, a durable stone made from the ashes of the essentials.
How long does it take?
The Remembrance Stone takes between 3 to 5 weeks to create from the moment we receive the ashes.
I already have the ashes. Can I still order a Remembrance Stone?
Yes, we can create a Remembrance Stone using the ashes you provide.
Is it possible to make several stones for all family members?
Yes, if you want to make some stones, we can help with that.
What exactly will my Remembrance Stone look like?
Each pebble is unique, so you will not find any pebble that is identical to yours. Pebbles may vary slightly in shape, color, and the presence of bubbles on the surface. We believe it reflects each one's individuality.
Why a Stone of Remembrance and not an urn of ashes?
Many feel that the ashes urn does not provide enough of the close and direct contact they seek to have with the memory of a loved one. Although cremation is a good solution, it can prove impractical in terms of storage and not always convenient to place or disperse ashes.
Instead, the Stone of Remembrance is a convenient option that is easy to transport and store, providing a more personal and dignified way to preserve memories.

How can you verify that you truly made the Memory Stone from the ashes me provided?
We can record the entire process of creating the stone to ensure there are no doubts or misunderstandings between us.
What do you make the Stone of Remembrance from?
Of non-toxic substances that give the ash hardness and hydrophobicity. We also cover it with a non-toxic varnish so that you are not afraid to scratch it and can hold it confidently in your hands.
